Is Ashiatsu right for me?
This type of bodywork isn't for everyone. Due to the compressive nature of Ashiatsu barefoot massage, therapists must take extra precaution with certain client conditions. This a just a hand full of conditions that would be contraindicated for receiving an ashiatsu treatment. However, a certified Deepfeet Therapist will have full knowledge of all contraindications for ashiatsu and how to best address their client needs.

Do I have to completely undress for this treatment?
The short answer to this question is: No. You do not ever have to completely undress if you don't want to.
Prior to every session you have, we will discuss which techniques and modalities are most appropriate for you for that day.
Due to the nature of the work, Ashiatsu is most effective when applied to unclothed skin. That said, this is your massage.
It is up to you to decide how much clothing is comfortable for you during your session and the appropriate techniques will be chosen accordingly. You will have full privacy to undress, and ample time to get on the table before your session starts. You will be covered with a sheet and blanket at all times during your session, except for the specific area being worked on at the time.
